Blissful Bleats Farm is a small herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats in Central Virginia. A love for animals and two bottle fed doe kids started our journey in 2016. Our herd continued to improve and grow from there. We chose Nigerians for their small size and high butterfat content. We find their size easier to manage, even for our kids! We use their milk for fresh dairy products and creamy soap for our family. 

We are proud members of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), the American Goat Society (AGS), and the American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association (ANDDA).

We are an ADGA Plus Breeder, participating in Linear Appraisal, Milk Test, and DNA Testing. We have slowly been working on DNA Testing each of the goats in our herd and plan to have everyone on file by 2023.

Bucks are not available for stud service for bio-security reasons. We test yearly for CAE and Johnes. Results are available upon request.
